Who is Boston Bean Coffee Company?
Richard and Sue started Boston Bean Coffee Co. in 2015. Their reasoning was simple. Once you've had carefully sourced, roasted and brewed specialty coffee, you "find it impossible to go back to the ordinary flavourless offerings served up in most places." Today they roast in Port Lincoln, South Australia, on the shores of Boston Bay. Beans are roasted fresh weekly at their in-house roastery. You can also drop into the café and roastery at 122 Mortlock Terrace. The coffee is ethically and sustainably sourced from Colombia, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Brazil and Papua New Guinea. There are single origins and blends, on weekly, fortnightly or monthly subscriptions. Their Symmetry has been named Reserve Champion Coffee twice, in 2018 and 2021.
