Barefoot Roasters

Who is Barefoot Roasters?

Dawn and Rodney opened Barefoot Brew Room in Byron Bay in November 2012. Today they bring fresh roasted coffee to that café, and direct to customers and wholesalers. Rodney is owner and head roaster. He has 37 years in hospitality, across hotels, restaurants and cafés, and 12 years roasting. He learned the craft at Di Bella Coffee Roasting Warehouse in Sydney, and now roasts on a Probat. Barefoot Roasters offers blends and single origins, roasted to order and packed by hand. Beans are sourced directly from South America and other top growing regions, working with farmers and trusted partners. Their own line sums it up: “everything's better barefoot.”
