Who is Rafael's Coffee?
Rafael Fabris found his passion for coffee while working as a viticulturist. His quest to bring other coffee lovers freshly roasted beans led him to set up a boutique roastery, which has been roasting in the Macedon Ranges since 2012. Today Rafael's Coffee roasts in Lancefield, in Victoria's Macedon Ranges. Rafael is the owner, barista and roaster. Look for the coffee at farmers' markets in Woodend, Kyneton, Riddells Creek, Lancefield and Macedon. The point of difference is that every order is roasted to order, in small batches, on Thursdays. In the roaster's words, "your beans will always be fresh." Roasts sit at a medium level. Beans are ethically sourced from countries including Peru, Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, Honduras, Kenya and India. Single origins rotate about every three months. Delivery is free across the Macedon Ranges, and orders can be posted too.
