Who is Emporio Coffee?
Emporio Coffee roasts its blends fresh every day, then nitrogen-flushes the bags so the beans keep longer. That care runs right through the process. Green coffee arrives in airtight, food-grade bags. The final bag is 120 microns of aluminium and food-grade plastic. This is a family business based in Hawthorn, Victoria. In their words: "Our family has been in the coffee industry for 30 years." They also wholesale beans and equipment to cafés, restaurants and delis, with setup help and training. For home buyers, the range covers Royal Empress, Merchant and il Distretto. There's also a Colombian single origin, a decaf and a Greek-style coffee. Chai, syrups and chocolate sit alongside.
