Who is Constance Coffee?
Ciaran Ardren started roasting in 2009, working across high-volume commercial roasters and boutique specialty start-ups. After years of learning and planning, he launched Constance during Melbourne's February 2021 lockdown. The idea from the start was simple: roast coffee the team actually wants to drink. Constance sources from traceable supply chains — cooperatives invested in their members, and small farms with access to nearby processing. Every bean in the blends is sold as a single origin too. Signature blends include Strider, Looper, BFG and Moonface, alongside single origins from Ethiopia, Papua New Guinea, Brazil, Nicaragua, Guatemala and Colombia. Packaging is biodegradable and the mailers are home-compostable. Subscriptions run across every blend and the decaf, saving 10%, with free shipping over $30.
