Who is Coffee Roasters Collective?

Rob Mergard started life as an engineer. In the Collective's words, "it was his problem solving mindset and technical flair that saw him redesign coffee roasting in Queensland." He began in a small café set-up and went on to own Dancing Bean Espresso. Over more than 20 years, the business built close relationships with cafés around the country. It supplied beans, machines and marketing support. Then home drinkers started asking for more. They wanted to explore different beans and blends, and take the café experience home. That demand inspired Rob to found Coffee Roasters Collective. Today the Collective is based in Ipswich, Queensland. Look for single-origin coffee including Colombia, a house blend built from four single-farm coffees, plus home equipment and workshops.
