Redmile Coffee Roasters

Who is Redmile Coffee Roasters?

It started with a trip to a café in Albany. The founder, an engineer for their whole working life, went looking for "that elusive cup of delight" in every coffee shop they passed. In 2012 they went to the first International Coffee Expo in Australia, in Melbourne. They came away with an espresso machine. A grinder followed, then a table-top roaster. The commercial roastery was commissioned in January 2014. Today Redmile Coffee Roasters is a family business roasting small batches in Mount Helena, in Perth's Eastern Hills. It's named after an ancestral home built in 1853 on the Avon River in York, WA. The focus is specialty grade beans only, from around the globe. Every bag is roasted and shipped on demand, with the roast date on it.
