Who is Legend Coffee Roaster?
Legend Coffee and Culture chases fruit, not roast character. The aim is a clean, flavourful black coffee that still has the balance and depth to hold up in milk. They roast in West Gosford, on the NSW Central Coast, and have done since 2019. Production runs on a 35kg Loring Kestrel S35. One flame heats the roaster and burns off its smoke, which they say cuts gas use and carbon emissions substantially. A 6kg Giesen handles micro batches and single origins. Origins include Colombia, Kenya and Ethiopia. Batches are tracked in Cropster and checked at a weekly QC cupping. You can drink it at their cafés in West Gosford and Terrigal. They also offer wholesale, private-label coffee and barista training.
