Who is Giovanni Coffee?
Giovanni Coffee started with a promise to cafés. In 1974, Don Podmore founded Coffee & Tea Supplies of WA to help "Cafés & Restaurants deliver exceptional coffee and tea beverages to their customers so they come back for more." Don built a reputation for integrity, depth of knowledge and friendliness. Giovanni Coffee has supplied Perth cafés and restaurants since 1979. In 2001, Don's son Brad joined the family business. He set out to realise his father's vision of roasting their own coffee. Master Roaster Ross Bright was brought in from Spinelli Coffee in Singapore to run the roasting training. Today Brad and his roasting staff roast fresh each week in Perth, WA. The coffees are 100% Arabica and medium roasted. Beans come from Brazil, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Colombia, Costa Rica and New Guinea, with a decaf from Mexico.
