Fiebre Coffee

Who is Fiebre Coffee?

Fiebre Coffee started in 2013 with the hope to "share the brilliance of Panamanian coffee with the world." Owner Jose Castillo was born in Chiriqui, Panama. He brings the experience and connections of growing up there to how he makes coffee and runs a community-centric café. Today Fiebre roasts in Malaga, Perth. The coffee is roasted and brewed in-house at its café on Trade Road. Beans come direct from a partner farm in Panama, Santos Cafe in Renacimiento, along with cacao. The farm follows organic methods. Fiebre chooses not to certify them in Australia, so that cost can be shared with the growers instead. Its personal relationship with the team keeps an open conversation going about how the coffee is grown. The range is Caturra and Catuai Rojo, washed, across three roasts: Cires, Zurdo and Montezuma.
